India Post Recruitment 2024 Age Limit
Candidates should be between 18 to 30 years of age as of 01.07.2024. Age relaxation is applicable according to Government of India guidelines.

Candidates should have a certificate in the respective trade from a Technical Institution recognized by the Government or have passed 8th standard with one year of experience in the respective trade.
Candidates who apply for the post of Mechanic (Motor Vehicle) should possess a valid Driving Licence (HMV & LMV) to drive heavy & light vehicles

India Post Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
Selection of Skilled Artisans shall be made from, amongst the candidates possessing the requisite qualifications and valid driving licence [only for Mechanic (MV)) by means of a Competitive Trade Test.
The date and venue of the test with the syllabus will be intimated separately to the eligible candidates at their correspondence address in the Hall Permit.

The pay scale for the post is Rs. 19,900/- (Level-2 in the Pay Matrix as per the 7th CPC).
