The Israeli Security Cabinet has voted in favor of a ceasefire agreement to end the ongoing war with militant group Hezbollah in Lebanon . Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has given three major reasons for the ceasefire agreement in a statement on Tuesday. Referring to the three reasons, PM Benjamin Netanyahu said, “The first reason is that they want to focus on the threat of Iran. The second reason is that Israeli soldiers need to rest and replenish their weapons and ammunition supplies. There has been a massive delay in the delivery of weapons and ammunition, but soon this problem will be resolved. They will get the supply of advanced weapons, which will keep our soldiers safe and give them more power to accomplish their mission. The third reason for the ceasefire is that they want to isolate Hamas. Hezbollah was dependent on Hamas for the war, but now with Hezbollah out, Hamas is left alone. Which will now help in releasing the Israeli hostages.” Netanyahu said, “With full understanding with the US, we maintain complete freedom of military action. If Hezbollah violates the agreement and tries to arm itself, we will attack. If it tries to rebuild terrorist infrastructure near the border, it will be attacked. Not only this, if it launches rockets or digs a tunnel or brings a truck carrying rockets, it will be attacked.”
