The country’s only media and communication organization working on child rights gets recognition for its contribution to protection and empowerment of children

The country’s only media and communication organization working on child rights, ‘India For Children’, has bagged the prestigious ‘The Golden Star Icon Award-2024’ (TGSI) for outstanding contribution to the protection and empowerment of children.

‘India For Children’ was selected by an eminent jury comprising Justice Dr Arijit Pasayat, former Judge of the Supreme Court of India, Jury members Dr Jayadev Sarangi, former Secretary to the Government of India, and Prof Satya Bhusan Dash, chairperson Centre for Marketing in Emerging Economies IIM Lucknow.

The 9th addition award presented to ‘India For Children’ includes a trophy and a certificate of excellence issued for maintaining consistently high standards of workmanship.

Founded by Aviva Keeon, The Golden Star Icon Awards (TGSI Awards) has emerged as one of the world’s premier platforms for recognizing iconic brands, services, and individuals by honouring the achievements and positive impact of organizations and professionals worldwide, providing them with the public recognition they deserve.

Expressing his appreciation for the award to India’s only media and communication organization working on child rights, Director India For Children, Mr Anil Pandey said bagging a prestigious award is an achievement and establishes the credibility of the organization of emerging as a beacon of hope in advocating the rights of every child in the country.

“Our mission to highlight child rights issues in mainstream media has been successful as we have been able to create an ecosystem where child protection is now a priority for coverage in digital, print, and electronic media. Our efforts have yielded results as there is a perceptible change in media perception to provide space to issues concerning children in the country,” he said.

According to the advisory panel member of TGSI Awards, Mr Surya Narayan Mishra, The Golden Star Icon Awards fosters connections across diverse professional sectors, encouraging mutual support and growth.

“TGSI Awards are committed to creating and distributing high-quality research, media content, and brand loyalty that drives sustained success for all involved. Through this platform, we aim to nurture talent, promote excellence, and inspire participants to achieve even greater heights in their professional journeys,” he said.

The award presentation function was organized by Aviva Keeon, India at Radisson Blu, Kaushambi in Delhi NCR.
