To be eligible for the position of Chairperson, FSSAI, a candidate must:
Be a person of eminence in the field of Food Science.
Be a person of eminence in the field of Food Science.
(Or)
Be a person from the Administration with a strong association with the subject of food safety who has held or is currently holding a position equivalent to or higher than a Secretary to the Government of India.
Relevant work experience in Central or State Regulatory Bodies

FSSAI Recruitment 2024 Salary
The position offers a substantial monthly salary of Rs. 2,25,000 along with additional allowances as per DoPT guidelines.
