Candidates should have a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in one of the following fields: Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Dairy Chemistry, Agricultural Science, Animal Science, Fisheries Science, Biotechnology, Food Safety, Food Technology, Food and Nutrition, Dairy Technology, Oil Technology, or Veterinary Sciences. Alternatively, they can be an associate of the Institution of Chemists (India) in the Food Analysts section.
