Padma Shri Dr. Saurabh Srivastava, who is Former Chairman, NASSCOM and Founder Chairman, Indian Angel Networks is a widely acknowledged industry veteran known for creating a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem in India.
Dr. Srivastava obtained his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from IIT Kanpur in 1968 and went on to pursue his master's degree at Harvard University. He co-founded and Chaired key institutions of modern India focussed on entrepreneurship namely NASSCOM; Indian Venture Capital Association; TiE New Delhi NCR; Indian Angel Network. Further, Dr. Srivastava is a co-founder of Ashoka University and also serves on the Advisory Boards of Imperial College Business School, London and Uttarakhand and Himachal Universities in India.
He was nominated as member of BoG, IIT Kanpur by the Chairperson of the Council of IITs for a period of 3 years with effect from November 17, 2021.
