The NUJS IPTLS Blog is an academic, non-commercial blog for the purpose of promoting research, enhancing awareness, and fostering discourse in the domain of Intellectual Property (‘IP’) amongst students, academicians, and other IP enthusiasts. The Blog also focuses on the rapidly evolving landscape of technology law, examining its regulatory frameworks, legal challenges, and policy impacts, encouraging informed debate on cutting-edge issues at the intersection of law and technology.

The Blog invites submissions from all interested contributors, which can be made on the email address provided below. We also invite you to read through the published articles on our Blog, by .

We accept rolling submissions all year round, and welcome your contributions on IP as well as technology law. However, we are particularly eager to feature more content focused on technology law and policy, given its growing global relevance. With the recent introduction of various new laws by the Indian government, there is a wealth of emerging issues and opportunities for in-depth analysis and discussion in this evolving field.

Submission Guidelines:


  1. Format: Submissions should be in Times New Roman, font size 12, line spacing 1.5, paragraph spacing 12 points (before and after) and sent as a Word Document (version 2007 or later) to iptls@nujs.edu.


  2. Author Information: All author details must be included in the email body, not in the document itself.


  3. Word Limit: Posts should be 1000-1500 words. Longer posts may be considered for a series publication, depending on the quality.


  4. Citations: Use hyperlinks for citations wherever possible (open access). Footnotes should be used only for sources that cannot be linked and must follow the NUJS Law Review Citation Standard (which can be found ).


  5. Structure: Keep paragraphs short (8-10 lines). Separate paragraphs with a single space (12 points).


  6. Author Bio: Include a brief bio (around 50 words) with professional details and links to your social media profiles.


  7. Originality: Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.


  8. Editorial Rights: IPTLS reserves the right to edit posts for grammar, style, or format to align with the blog’s standards.


  9. Review Process: We aim to acknowledge submissions promptly and communicate our decision within 10-12 days.
