BHU 2024


BHU 2024 Application form will be released via online mode. Banaras Hindu University (BHU) offers various courses under UG & PG level programmes. Previously, NTA use to conduct BHU UG & PG level exams as UET & PET. Since year 2022, admission is on the basis of Common University Entrance Test (CUET). For UG courses, candidates will have to appear in CUET-UG & for PG courses, CUET- PG will be conducted. Therefore, it will be mandatory for a candidate to appear for CUET exam to participate in the BHU. One who will clear CUET UG or PG exam will further have to attend counselling process of BHU for admission. BHU 2024 Application Form​


Candidates must check following details regarding BHU 2023 application form:

  • BHU 2024 Application form will be released via online mode.
  • The application form through CUET UG will be made available from second week of February 2024.
  • Through CUET PG, registration form will be filled from second week of March till first week of May 2024.
  • Authority will also provide correction facility to edit incorrect details in the form for limited time period.
  • During registration, candidates must not forget to upload passport size photograph & signature in prescribed format.
  • All communication details will be sent to candidate’s registered number & ID, so it must be working/ valid.
  • Candidates must be ensure they fulfil each eligibility norms, as form will be accepted only of eligible candidates.
  • At last, one must not forget to take printout of their filled in application form for future use.

  • Candidates will be able to submit the application fee via online mode.

How to Apply for BHU 2024​


Check given step by by step procedure regarding how to fill BHU application form:

  • For UG courses, go through CUET UG officials.
  • For PG courses, visit CUET PG officials
  • Enter basic details such as candidate’s name, roll number, qualification & communication details.
  • Through OTP, you will get your application number & password.
  • Keep it safe till future use.
  • Now submit other details & complete the form.
  • Upload Passport size photograph & signature in prescribed format.
  • Cross-check complete details & submit the form.
  • Submit the fee as per your course & category.
  • After fee submission, a confirmation page will appear on your screen.
  • Take its printout & keep safe till future use.

BHU 2024 Eligibility Criteria​


Candidates must check following details regarding :

  • Nationality: Indian National citizen will be eligible to apply.
  • Qualification: Applying candidate must have qualified 12th level exam from any recognized university.
  • Percentage: To be eligible, one must have scored minimum 50% marks in the qualifying exam.
  • Appearing: Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam in year of admission will be also eligible to apply.

BHU 2024 Exam Pattern​


Candidates must check following details regarding BHU 2024 :

For CUET UG:

  • Exam Mode: The exam will be held through online mode.
  • Questions Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) will be asked in the paper.
  • Languages: The exam will be offered in 13 languages as Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odiya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
  • Marking scheme: For every correct answer, +5 marks will be awarded.
  • Negative marking: -1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

BHU 2024 Admit Card​


To download BHU 2024 admit card, candidates will have to use their login credentials. For UG courses, it will be made available in first week of May 2024. It will be released in first week of June 2024 for PG level courses. Admit card contains all mandatory information such as candidate’s name, roll number, exam time, venue etc.

Authority will also release exam city slip before admit card. Students must also download exam city slip as it will be also equally important. Also, check complete details mentioned in your hall ticket. In case of any false information, contact officials as any discrepancies will lead to rejection of candidature.

BHU 2024 Answer Key​


BHU 2024 answer key will be published via online mode. Candidates must keep their login credentials ready to display answer key. It will be available in last week of May 2024 & first week of July 2024 for UG & PG courses respectively.

First, authority will release provisional answer key. Candidates will be given chance to make objections against provisional key. Candidates will also have to submit the required to fee to make objection. After objection periods get over, final answer key will be published.

BHU 2024 Cut Off​


The cut off criteria for BHU 2024 will be published via online mode. Cut off marks are the minimum marks, one have to score to qualify the exam. Cut off depends on various factors such as marks scored in the exam, difficulty level of exam, previous year cut off trends & seat availability.

It will be released separately for UG & PG courses. One must make sure that cut off criteria will be released by university itself. CUET authority will not release any cut off criteria. Further, students who will meet cut off criteria will have to participate in the counselling process.

BHU 2024 Result​


The result for BHU 2024 will be available via online mode. To check result, candidates will have to use their login credentials or it can also be released in the form of pdf. Candidates whose name will appear in the merit list, will have to participate in the counselling process.

Result will contain all details such as candidate’s name, roll number, marks scored in each subject, total marks & result status. Candidates are advised to download their result & keep its printout safe till future use.

BHU 2024 Counselling​


The counselling process for BHU 2024 will be held via online mode. It will be mandatory for candidates whose name appeared in the merit list to participate in the counselling session. Students must know that counselling procedure will be commenced by BHU itself. All students who gets qualified either in CUET UG or PG (as per their eligibility), will be able to participate in the process.

Admission will be given to candidates after verification of documents & fee submission. Details about fee will be updated in our article when published by BHU officials. Following documents will be required for verification purpose:
