BHU 2023 Application Form (CUET-PG) has been extended till 5th May 2023. Banaras Hindu University 2023 Exam Dates (CUET) has been announced. It offers various courses in Undergraduate & Postgraduate level. Earlier, Banaras Hindu University (BHU) conducts the examination as UET & PET. From 2022, the admission is given through Common University Entrance Test (CUET). Admission will be offered to candidates in CUET (UG) and CUET (PG) level courses. Following are the complete details regarding the BHU 2023 entrance examination:

  • The for CUET (UG) has been released on 9th February till 30th March 2023.
  • The candidate can fill out the BHU 2023 Application form through online mode.
  • The application form for CUET (PG) has been released from 20th March 2023 till 5th May 2023.
  • To register for the BHU 2023 examination candidate need to enter all the required details in the application form.
  • Candidates need to fill in all the details very carefully such as Name, Father’s Name, and Mother’s Name in the application form.

How to Apply for BHU 2023

  • Step-1: Visit the website of BHU 2023 (Link is given above).
  • Step-2: Candidates have to register for online application process.
    Step-3: Then candidate have to select the course of your choice.
  • Step-4: After that, fill the application form such as name, educational details, email address, phone number, etc.

BHU 2023 Eligibility Criteria


Candidates need to check the criteria to be eligible for BHU 2023:

  • Qualification: For UG, candidate must pass the 12th class or equivalent exam. Candidates must have bachelor’s degree or equivalent examination for PG level examination.
  • Percentage: Applying candidates must have qualified the examination with minimum 50% marks to be eligible.
  • Nationality: Indian National citizen will be eligible to apply.
  • Age: There will be no age limit to apply for BHU examination.
  • Appearing: Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam will be also eligible to apply.

BHU 2023 Exam Pattern


Following are the complete for the BHU 2023 entrance exam:

For CUET UG:

  • Mode of Exam: The exam will conduct through online mode.
  • Type of Questions: The paper will contain Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
  • Medium: The exam will be offered in 13 languages as Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odiya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
  • Marking scheme: +5 marks will be awarded for every correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.

BHU 2023 Admit Card


The will be released through online mode. Candidate need to the enter the login details to download the admit card. It will be available in 2nd week of May 2023 for UG course and 3rd week of June 2023 for PG course.

The admit card will consist of personal and exam details such as the date, time, and venue of the examination. It is the most important document to carry on the day of the examination. Candidates without hall ticket will not be allowed to sit in the examination hall. The candidate needs to take the printout of the admit card for future reference.

BHU 2023 Answer Key


The BHU 2023 will be made available from 2nd week of July 2023. The answer key will be displayed in PDF format. The answer key will be released via online mode. The authority will provide the opportunity to candidate to challenge the provisional answer key.

If candidate is not satisfied with the answer then they can also raise the objection by paying Rs 200/- per question as processing charge. The final answer key will be declare after every candidate has clear their objection.

BHU 2023 Cut Off


The is the minimum marks required to qualify for the exam so that the candidate can appear for the next round. The BHU 2023 Cut off will be release separately for UG courses and PG courses. It will be release via online mode.

Candidates need to score more than the prescribed cut-off set by the authority to get admission to the university. The reserved category candidate will be given breaks in the cut-off. It will be prepared on the basis of factors such as no. of candidates appeared, qualified candidates & average marks scored by the candidates etc.

BHU 2023 Result


The will be based on final answer key. Candidates will be able to check their result by entering their roll number. There will no re-evaluation/ re-checking of the result. The result will release through 2nd week of July 2023 for UG course and for PG course it will release from August 2023.

The result will be released for every participating candidate through online mode. No score card will be dispatched to the candidates they have to download their score card from the website. The candidate needs to keep the result safe till the completion of the admission procedure.

BHU 2023 Counselling


The university will conduct the through online mode. The counselling will be done on the basis of marks secured in the entrance exam. BHU Counselling 2023 will be conducted for the shortlisted candidates. It will be mandatory for all shortlisted candidates to participate in the counselling process.

The selection and admission are subject to fulfilling the admission criteria, eligibility, rank in the merit list, medical fitness, verification of original documents, and such other criteria prescribed by university, the candidate is applying for.

The candidates will have to bring the allotment letter at the time of reporting to the allotted college. The seats will be allotted to the candidates according to their rank and availability of seats in various colleges.
