Bangalore University Distance Education Admission?: As per guidelines, Bangalore University does not offer distance education. Admission into Bangalore University will commence approximately in the month of February. The university only takes students for regular courses once a year.

The university drives its courses in the following streams: arts, & humanities, commerce, business, language, science, etc. Interested candidates must fill out the application form before the last date to be considered for admission to the upcoming session.

Bachelor of Education or BEd is a UG degree with a time duration of 2 years. Students can apply for the course after completing their UG degree. BEd distance education is not approved by UGC in distance mode at Bangalore University. Students can pursue a degree in regular mode only.

Bangalore University Distance Education PG Admission


The university offers PG courses such as MA, MSc, MCom, etc. Students must take a merit test and an entrance exam to enrol in these courses according to their degree program. Admission will be granted to new learners on the basis of eligibility and document verification.

For PG admission Bangalore University offers an application process in online & offline modes. Bangalore University Distance Education MBA

For eligibility, a bachelor’s degree from any recognized university with minimum aggregate marks of 40%. After completion, there are many career options for graduates. Bangalore University distance education provides MBA courses to students who can’t afford regular courses due to certain restrictions.

For all UG courses eligibility,


  • The students studying BA and B.Com must pass the two-year pre-university exam of the 10+2 pattern or the equivalent.
  • The Department of vocational education, state of Karnataka, offers three-year diploma courses.

For all PG courses eligibility,

  • The MA students were required to score between 40% and 50% in BA in relevant subjects.
  • M.Com degree applicants must have completed a B.Com degree from Bangalore University or an equivalent recognized university with a 50% aggregate mark in commerce subjects across all examinations.
  • MSc applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in science as the university has a number of specializations in the department of science. The Candidate must not score less than 50% aggregate on his report card.

Download the admit card from Bangalore University, DDE’s official website. To complete the process, follow these steps:

  • Visit the Bangalore University Distance Education official website.
  • Select ‘Hall Ticket’ from the main menu, then select ‘Fresh Hall Tickets’.
  • Enter the ID number, degree, and semester/year.
  • Select ‘Download Hall Ticket’ and save it.
Note: Anyone who is unable to download the Hall ticket should contact the DDE office along with an ID card. The Hall ticket will only be issued upon production of the ID card.
