Admission Procedure
Admission in courses is done on the basis of JEE Main scores. Only national level entrance test is considered for providing admission.
There is not any entrance test organized at state level for admission in . Admission can be done through merit of the qualifying exam.
Entrance Exams
Students can appear in the examination to get admission in B.Tech courses. NTA board will organize JEE Main 2023 examination from April 2023 for 1st Session and May 2023 for 2nd Session.
JEE Main is a national level entrance exam which is conducted for admission in B.Tech & courses in India. Admission in courses is done through exam.

B.Tech Admission 2023
Candidates can apply for admission in B.Tech through the JEE Main exam. Candidates must review their eligibility before applying. The eligibility criteria for JEE Main exam is mention below:
- Candidates should have passed or appearing in the 10+2 or equivalent exam with PCM subjects.
- Diploma holders are also eligible to apply.
- Students must have cleared the 12th exams in the year 2020 and 2021.
- There is no age limit criteria to apply for JEE Main exam.
Selection Procedure
For admission in B.Tech course, candidates can apply through entrance exam or through the merit list of the qualifying exam. Separate merit list or cut-off is released by various colleges for providing admission.
On the basis of merit, students can appear for the counselling fee. During counselling, candidates have to pay the counselling fee and fill their preferences.
On the basis of filled choices, rank & seat availability, seats has been allotted to candidates. For admission in NIT, candidates have to participate in the JoSAA counselling.
Documents Required
During the admission process, students have to go through the document verification process. Candidates have to bring their original documents along with the photocopies for verification. Below we have listed the documents needed at the time of verification:
- 10th class mark sheet & passing certificate
- 12th class mark sheet & passing certificate
- Score card & admit card of entrance test (if any)
- Character certificate
- Transfer certificate
- Category certificate (if required)
- Domicile certificate (for state quota)
