Kanpur, 18 October 2023: Antaragni, the annual cultural festival of IIT Kanpur, is back with a bang as it gears up for its much-awaited 58th edition. The festival, renowned for its grandeur and spirit, is set to mesmerize participants and spectators alike from 19-22 October 2023 at the vibrant IIT Kanpur campus.


Building on the success of the previous year, Antaragni'23 promises an exhilarating line up of events and activities that cater to diverse interests and talents. From captivating performances by renowned artists, electrifying music concerts, thought-provoking panel discussions, to intense competitive events across various disciplines, Antaragni aims to provide an unforgettable experience for all attendees. Antaragni'23 aspires to surpass all previous milestones, promising an even more engaging and enchanting experience for everyone involved.


Embarking on a journey of celestial wonder, the theme of this year's Antaragni fest, "Glimpse of Empyrean," promises to transport attendees to an ethereal realm where imagination takes flight and dreams materialize. The very essence of empyrean, the highest reaches of heaven, infuses the fest with an otherworldly charm, inviting participants to explore the uncharted territories of their creativity and passion. The theme acts as a cosmic canvas, blending the mystical and the avant-garde to create an immersive experience that transcends the ordinary. With a tapestry of celestial motifs, astral hues, and a touch of cosmic mystique, "Glimpse of Empyrean" aims to inspire a sense of boundless possibilities, where every event and performance becomes a star in the vast constellation of this extraordinary celebration. As attendees navigate through the fest, they are sure to encounter a harmonious blend of the sublime and the fantastical, leaving them with memories of a celestial journey that extends beyond the confines of everyday existence.


Antaragni's exhilarating line up of events is poised to ignite the spark of passion and enthusiasm in its audience. The India Inspired event, featuring the inspirational Yogita Bhayana is crafted to motivate and empower individuals. The Alum Inspired event presents a talk by an impressive and motivational speaker and our alum Abhay Bhushan. Simultaneously, the Talent Fiesta event promises to spotlight the rich and diverse cultural tapestry of India.


The Classical night will feature Shariq Mustafa. For aficionados of sufi music, the Qawaali eve, with Ali Sufi Brothers, guarantees to captivate audiences. Antaragni also introduces a distinctive showcase of talented artists from around the globe through its International Carnival line up, including YuiYui this year.


A renowned comedian has been invited for the comedy night. Pankaj Prasun, Mukul Mahan, Prabuddh Saurabh and Mukesh Srivastav are set to take audiences on a self-reflective journey at Kavi Sammelan.


This year is a celebration of magic, and what better way to mark it than by hosting a magician extraordinaire. There is a plethora of entertainment, offering something for everyone - from the thrilling Escape Room and Gaming Zone to the exhilarating Zorbing and Silent Disco, to the classic favorites Poker and Archery.


The musical virtuoso will command the spotlight on rock night, delivering an unforgettable performance that will leave the audience mesmerized. The Bollywood night, Blitzkrieg will showcase the one and only Amit Trivedi, renowned for their electrifying and captivating performances.
