Application Form will be released from first week of February 2024 for PG. Anna University organises a university level admission procedure each year to offer admission in various UG and PG courses. Admission in UG courses is offered based on the merit list of the qualifying exam. For PG courses, candidates must have to appear for the TANCET/ CEETA PG examinations. For admission in MBA and MCA, TANCET exam is conducted & CEETA PG examination is conducted for admission into M.Tech, M.Arch, M.Plan courses. Anna University 2024 Application Form​


Candidates must go through the given details to know Anna University 2024 Application Form details:

  • Application form will be available through online mode. There will be no other or offline facility available to apply.
  • Candidates must fill Anna University registration form from first to last week of February 2024 for PG courses.
  • For UG courses, application form will be released in third week of June 2024.
  • Candidates must fill correct details in the application form i.e. educational, personal, address, communication etc.
  • Upload scanned image of photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
  • No correction facility will be provided after submission of the application form, so fill details carefully to avoid any kind of rejection.
  • Candidates must take printout of the filled application form and keep it safe for future references.

Application Fee:​

  • Candidates must submit application fee through online mode.
  • Online payment will be done via credit card/ debit card/ net banking and other online payment gateways.
  • Fee will be non-refundable.

Anna University 2024 Eligibility Criteria​


Candidates are advised to fulfil the given Anna University 2024 Eligibility Criteria in order to be eligible for exam:

B. Tech:​

  • Nationality: There will be no need to show Nativity Certificate if candidates have passed 8th or 10th class from Tamil Nadu state.
  • Candidates who have passed the above exam outside Tamil Nadu then they will need to show Original Nativity Certificate in electronic form/ digitally signed e-certificate.
  • Qualification: Candidate those have passed 12th class will be eligible to apply.
  • Marks: One should obtained at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category) in their qualifying exam.
  • Subjects: Candidates must have PCM subjects in 12th level as compulsory subjects.

For Other UG Courses:​

  • Nationality: Indian citizen/ NRI/ CIWGC or Foreign national will be eligible to apply.
  • Qualification: 12th pass candidates will be eligibly to apply for UG courses.
  • Marks: Candidates must secure minimum of 45% (40% for SC/ ST candidates) in 12th level.

MCA Courses:​

  • Qualification: Candidates must be graduated in BCA/ B.Sc (Information Technology/ Computer Science or equivalent). OR
  • Candidates must have Bachelor’s degree with minimum 3 year duration in any disciplines with Mathematics at 10+2 level.
  • Marks: Candidates should obtained 50% marks (45% for reserved category) in qualifying exam.
  • Appearing: Final year appearing candidates will also be eligible to apply.

MBA Courses:​

  • Qualification: Candidates must have bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from any recognized university institute.
  • (10+2+3/4/5 years pattern) OR (10+3 years Diploma + 3 years pattern) OR (B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Arch/ B.Pharm) OR 10+2+AMIE* OR 10+ 3 years diploma (awarded by the State Board of Technical Education) + AMIE*
  • Marks: Candidates should secure at least 50% marks (40% marks for reserved category) in bachelor’s degree.

CEETA PG:​

  • Qualification: Candidates must be graduated from any recognised institute in order to be eligible.
  • Candidates those have B.Pharm Degree Programmes OR (B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Arch/ B.Pharm) OR Master’s degree in relevant branch of Science, Arts, which are prescribed OR 10+2+AMIE* 10+ 3 years diploma (awarded by the State Board of Technical Education) + AMIE* will be eligible to apply.
  • Marks: One must obtained 50%marks (45% marks for reserved category) in their qualifying exam.

Anna University 2024 Exam Pattern​


Here we have provided the Anna University 2024 Exam Pattern with marking scheme:

  • Exam Mode: Exam will be held in Offline mode.
  • Type of Questions: Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) will be asked in the exam.
  • Duration: Authority will provide 2 hours to solve the paper.
  • Total Questions: 100 questions will be available in MCA/ MBA paper. For M.E / M.Tech / M.Arch / M.Plan exam 115 questions will be asked.
  • Marking scheme: 1 mark will be awarded for every correct response.
  • Negative Marking: 1/3 marks will be deducted for incorrect answer.

Anna University 2024 Syllabus​


Anna University 2024 syllabus will be different as per the courses. UG syllabus will include topics from the 12th level subjects i.e. physics, chemistry, mathematics etc. For PG, syllabus will be based on the graduation subjects. It will be different for all courses. Anna University 2024 Admit Card​


will be released from second week of March 2024 for PG courses. Candidates will be able to download it using login details. Hall ticket will be the mandatory document which will be needed to bring at the examination centre.

Candidates must bring admit card with one photo identity proof at the examination hall. Without a valid admit card, candidates will not be allowed to appear for the exam. Verify all the details printed on the admit card i.e. name, roll number, exam venue, exam date and time etc.

Anna University 2024 Answer Key​


Answer key will be released by the authority through online mode in PDF format. It will be released in first week of April 2024. Through the Anna University Answer Key, candidates will get an idea about their marks obtained in the exam. Authority will also provide the facility to submit objection against the answer key.

After receiving all the objections, authority will release final answer key. Result will be prepared based on the final answer key. Candidates must download and keep answer key safe.

Anna University 2024 Result​


will be declared in second week of April 2024 for PG. For UG courses, it will be released in last week of July 2024. Candidates will be able to check their results through online mode. Anna University Rank card for UG courses will be released based on the marks scored by the candidates in 12th level exam.

For PG courses, result will be prepared based on the entrance exam scores. Candidates must check the details printed on their results, in case of any discrepancy in marks contact immediately to the officials. Candidates are advised to take printout of the result and keep it safe for future references.

Anna University 2024 Cut Off​


Cut off will be the minimum marks that candidates must secure in order to be eligible for admission. It will be released through online mode on the website. Anna University 2024 Cut Off will be released separately for all categories. Candidate who have not obtained minimum qualifying marks, will not be eligible for admission.

Cut off marks will be prepared based on various factors i.e. number of candidates appeared in the exam, availability of seats, past years cut off list, difficulty level of the exam etc. Candidates will be called for the counselling as per the cut of marks.

Anna University 2024 Counselling​


Anna University 2024 Counselling will be commenced from the month of August 2024. Candidates who have shortlisted, will be called for the counselling rounds. Counselling will be organised in various rounds i.e. registration, choice filling, seat allotment, document verification etc.

Seats will be provided to the candidates on the basis of marks obtained by them in exam as well as other factors. After allotment of the seats, candidates will need to report at the university for completing admission process. Candidates are advised to bring documents for verification purpose.
