AMU 2023 Application Form
Candidates can check the complete details regarding the below:
- The Application form for AMU 2023 for CUET UG has been released through online
- UG application forms through CUET 2023 exam has been released on 9th February 2023.
- For other courses, the schedule of AMU has been released separately.
- Candidates have to enter all the details in the application form such as name, qualification, email id, address, contact no., etc.
- Upload the scanned copy of colored photo, signature, and thumb impression.
- Students are able to make corrections only during correction period. However, the authority has provided the correction facility through online mode.
- The last date to submit the application form for CUET UG exam is till 30th March 2023.
- Take the printout of the application form for future reference.
Application Fee:
- The application fee is available through both online mode.
- Admission test fee/ processing charges while applying is Rs.100. Also, candidates have to pay Rs.100 towards admission charges if admission offered.

How to Apply for AMU 2023:
- Step-1: Visit the website of AMU 2023.
- Step-2: Candidates need to enter details like to create a username and password, and then enter details such as name, email id, mobile number, date of birth, etc.
- Step-3: Click on “Save and Continue” button to submit the details.
- Step-4: You need to upload the scanned images of your passport size photograph, signature and left-hand thumb impression.
- Step-5: Candidate need to select the category if they belong to any from drop down menu.
- Step-6: Click on “Pay application fee” button and proceed to pay the required amount of fee.
- Step-7: Once the payment is successful, it is advised to take the printout of the application form for future reference.

AMU 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Following is provided complete criteria 2023 for CUET based courses & others:
For CUET UG Exam:
- Nationality: The candidate must be Indian citizen to be eligible for exam.
- Qualification (UG): Candidates must have passed 12th level or its equivalent examination from any recognized board.
- Age Limit: There is no age limit for the candidates.
- Appearing: Those candidates appearing in final year in 2023 are also eligible to apply for exam.
Other Courses:
For B. Tech Program:
- Qualification: Candidates must have Senior Secondary School Certificate examination or its equivalent.
- Marks: Candidates must have obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate for qualifying exam.
- Subjects: The candidate must have passed with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English subjects (PCME).
For B. Com (Hons.):
- Qualification: Candidates must be passed in 12th (Intermediate) level or its equivalent examination from any recognized board.
- Marks: Candidates must have obtained at least 50% marks in the qualifying exam in aggregate OR
- Candidates must have Diploma in Secretarial Practice examination of this university with not less than 55% marks in aggregate.
- Subjects: Candidates must have mandatory subjects such as English with one of the following subjects- Accountancy/ Economics/ Business studies/ Commerce/ Banking/ Mathematics/ Computer Science.
For MBA:
- Qualification: Candidates must have bachelor’s degree from any recognized university/ institute.
- Marks: Candidates must have obtained minimum 50% marks in the qualifying examination.
- Age Limit: The upper age limit will be 27 years as on 1st July in the year of admission.

For CUET UG exam:
- Mode of Exam: The exam is conducted through Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
- Type of Questions: The paper contains Objective type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
- Medium: The exam is offered in 13 languages Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
- Shifts: There will be 3 shifts per day
- Marking Scheme: Each correct answer is awarded with 5 marks.
- Negative Marking: For each wrong answer, 1 marks is being deducted

For B. Tech course (AMUEEE):
- Type of questions: The paper contains Multiple Choice questions.
- Total Marks: The paper will be of total 150 marks.
- Total questions: The total 150 questions are there in the exam.
- Sections: The paper consist of 3 sections via Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics.
- Duration: The duration of the exam is 3 hours.
- Marking scheme: 1 mark is given for every correct answer and -0.25 marks is being deducted for every wrong answer.
AMU 2023 Syllabus
AMU syllabus 2023 varies for various offered courses. There is a different syllabus for each academic program to be offered in AMU. For UG courses, candidates need to study the exam as per the syllabus prescribed for 11th & 12th level respectively.
For PG courses, the syllabus iss depend on the Aptitude Test/ English and relevant technical subjects.

AMU 2023 Preparation Tips

AMU 2023 Admit Card
AMU 2023 Admit Card will be available through online mode. To download the admit card, candidates need to select the course and then enter the application number. consist of important details like roll number, time, test date, exam center, address, etc.
AMU 2023 Admit Card will release in second week of May 2023. It is an important verification document that is mandatory to enter in the examination hall. No admit card will be sent to the candidates via post or any other means. Candidates are also allowed to bring a valid ID proof to the exam hall.
AMU 2023 Answer Key
The AMU 2023 Answer key will be released through PDF format. Candidates can report any discrepancy against the answer key on or before the last date. The answer keys will be available in online mode.
The 2023 will comprise of correct answers for every given question. The candidates can estimate their scores before the actual announcement and authority will also provide the objection facility to the candidates. The final answer key will release after the provisional answer key.
AMU 2023 Cut Off
To get admission in the University, candidates need to obtain minimum cut off marks. percentage is decided by considering various factors like number of candidates registered for test, number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of exam, etc.
On the basis of cut off marks, authority will select the candidates for final admission procedure. Candidates have to score more than the cut off to be eligible for further admission procedure.
AMU 2023 Result
The result for the AMU entrance exam 2023 will be released in PDF format. The qualifying candidates in the test will be eligible to participate in the AMU counselling procedure. The will be released in second week of July 2023.
The details mentioned in the result will be about counselling date and time, counselling venue, roll number, rank obtained, etc. There is no provision of rechecking/ revaluation. AMU does not provide any separate counselling call letters to the selected candidates.
AMU 2023 Counseling
The AMU will release the separate notice for 2023 after the declaration of the result. The AMU 2023 counselling procedure will commence from 3rd week of July 2023. Those who are shortlisted for the counselling procedure need to report as per the schedule and venue for the counselling process.
Candidates also need to specify the preference for course/ branch/ main subject/ stream, etc. during counselling process. Carry all the required documents for verification after which candidates are offered admission.
