AIIMS MBBS 2024 Eligibility
As per the sources, NMC has removed the upper age limit from NEET UG exam. However, candidates can check the NEET UG eligibility here. Before filling AIIMS Application, candidates must check if they fulfill the given eligibility criteria, as form is accepted only of eligible candidates.
Below we have mentioned the complete eligibility criteria to appear in the examination.
Qualification Criteria:
- Qualifying Exam: Candidate should pass the 12th/ Higher Secondary Education (HSC)/ Senior School Certificate Education (CBSE)/Intermediate Science (I.Sc) or equivalent examination from a recognised board/ university of any state.
- Subjects: It is necessary to pass the qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Biotechnology with English subjects.
- Minimum Marks: General category candidate must score minimum 50% marks, 45% for PH & 40% for SC/ ST category to be eligible.
- Appearing Candidates: Candidates those who have appeared or appearing in their 10+2 examination are also eligible to apply.
- Aadhar card is not mandatory to upload during NEET registration.
Eligibility for 15% All India Quota Seats
Nationality:
- Candidate must be the citizen of India, NRIs, PIOs, OCIs & Foreign Nationals.
For J&K & Ladakh:
- Candidates from UT of J&K and Ladakh are not eligible for 15% All India Quota seats. If they claim eligibility, they must submit online Self Declaration which will be generated and printed automatically along with confirmation page for the record and to present the same during counselling.
- Candidates from J&K & Ladakh can appear in NEET exam for admission to Private Medical/Dental Colleges or any Private/Deemed University & Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune subject to the fulfillment of eligibility conditions.
For Andhra Pradesh & Telangana:
- From 2018, Andhra Pradesh & Telangana state joins and contribute to the 15% All India Quota seats.
- Candidates from these states are now eligible for 15% AIQ seats without any self-declaration.
Eligibility for 85% State Quota Seats
All the states participating in the NEET 2023 will be able to fill their 85% seats of MBBS/BDS though state counselling, while the remaining 15% of the seats will be filled through All India centralized counselling. The eligibility for the 85% quota seats of the states are mentioned below:
- Candidates must have completed/appearing his/her 10th and 12th from the state.
- Candidate must possess a valid domicile in the state.
- Candidate should possess a residency proof of the state.
Age Criteria:
- Candidate’s age should be or will be 17 years as on the 31st of December of the year of admission.
- There is no upper age limit to apply for NEET UG 2023 exam.

AIIMS 2024 Application Form
Candidates have to fill (NEET) through online mode. NEET 2024 application form has been released on 9th February 2024.
Candidates can fill the application form till 16th March 2024. The last date to submit the application fee is till 16th March.
