ILS Law College, Pune is pleased to invite applications from law colleges across India to participate in 2nd National The Chamber Of Tax Consultants Indirect Tax Moot Court Competition, 2025, organized by ILS Law College, Pune in collaboration with The Chamber of Tax Consultants, Mumbai.

The Chamber of Tax Consultants (CTC) established in 1926, is a 97 years old non-profit organisation with the core objective of professional development of its members spread across the accounting, tax & legal aspects. Its vision is to be a powerhouse of knowledge in the field of fiscal laws in the global economy. The chamber contributes to the development of law and the profession through research, analysis and dissemination of knowledge.

ILS Law College, Pune established in 1924 has completed 100 years in the field of legal education. It has been a pioneer in offering comprehensive and innovative legal education, engaging in various activities to further the mission of providing finest opportunities & environment for learning & research.

The Moot Court Competition serves as a strategic platform for the CTC to disseminate comprehensive insights into taxation legislation. By fostering intellectual discourse, the competition aims to cultivate a collaborative ecosystem for taxation law professionals and enthusiasts.

The Competition focuses exclusively on the intricate landscape of indirect taxation. Participants will be challenged to explore sophisticated legal scenarios related to Goods and Services Tax (GST) and other indirect tax mechanisms through a carefully crafted problem that reflects contemporary tax law challenges.

The Competition is scheduled to be held in a Hybrid Format wherein the Preliminary, Quarter-Final & Semi-Final Rounds of the Arguments will be held in Virtual mode on 24th January and 25th January 2025 and the Final Round of the Competition will be held On-campus at ILS Law College, Pune on 8th February 2025.
