वयोमर्यादा – Age Criteria:
Age Limit for Appointment as Senior Residents; –
- 40 years for those having post Graduate qualifications.
- Age limit relaxation by 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
Railways may be allowed to relax the age limit from 37 years to 40 years as done by institutions like AIIMS in a particular specialty where they normally find it difficult to have senior residents. This should be done with the approval of the General Manager. This relaxation of age will be considered only if there is no candidate or applicants who satisfy the laid age limit of 33/35yrs (PG/DM).
